The Solis S6-EH1P8K-L-PRO is an 8 kW single-phase low-voltage hybrid inverter designed for residential and small commercial energy storage systems. It integrates solar PV generation, battery storage, grid power, and backup supply, with high battery charge/discharge capability, automatic UPS switching, and generator support.
The Solis S6-EH1P8K-L-PRO is an advanced hybrid energy storage inverter designed to provide flexible and reliable energy management for systems using 40–60 V low-voltage batteries.
The inverter delivers 8 kW of rated AC output power and supports up to 12.8 kWp of recommended PV power. Its two MPPT trackers provide flexible PV system design, with a maximum PV input voltage of 600 V DC and an MPPT operating range of 90–520 V DC.
With a maximum battery charge/discharge current of 190 A, the S6-EH1P8K-L-PRO is designed for high-power low-voltage battery applications. It supports both lithium-ion and lead-acid batteries, subject to battery compatibility.
For backup applications, the inverter provides 8 kW continuous backup power and can deliver up to 200% of rated power for 10 seconds. Its automatic UPS switching time is less than 4 ms, helping maintain power to critical loads during grid interruptions.
The PRO model also supports generator connectivity with automatic generator start/stop control, peak-shaving operation, six configurable charging/discharging time periods, and parallel operation. Multiple units can be connected in parallel for systems up to 48 kW, according to the manufacturer's documentation.
