The Huawei SmartGuard-63A-T0/AUT0 is an intelligent three-phase backup controller designed for Huawei residential solar and energy storage systems. It manages grid, inverter, backup loads, non-backup loads, and generator integration, providing automatic switching between grid-connected and backup operation.
The SmartGuard-63A-T0/AUT0 enables whole-home backup by intelligently managing the connection between the utility grid, compatible Huawei inverters, energy storage systems, and electrical loads. It supports on-grid, off-grid, and generator operating modes, with automatic or forced grid-to-backup switching.
When paired with compatible Huawei MAP0 inverters, the system can achieve a switching time of less than 20 ms, helping maintain continuous power for sensitive loads. With M1 or MB0 inverter systems, the switching time is up to 100 ms. The built-in SmartAssistant also provides intelligent home energy management and supports integration with compatible smart chargers, heat pumps, and smart devices.
